Welcome to JEMS 2027 in Prague!
The Joint European Magnetic Symposia (JEMS) is a major European meeting point for the magnetism community, bringing together researchers from academia and industry, as well as early-career scientists, to share progress across the full spectrum of magnetic phenomena and materials. From emergent states in quantum matter to functional magnetic systems and applications, JEMS provides a unique space for exchanging ideas, building collaborations, and shaping future directions in the field.
We are pleased to invite you to JEMS 2027, taking place 29 August – 3 September 2027 in Prague, Czech Republic, in a hybrid format with both on-site and online participation. The scientific programme will feature plenary and semi-plenary lectures, parallel symposia with invited and contributed talks, and poster sessions highlighting cutting-edge developments across the magnetism research fields. A strong line-up of invited speakers will present key breakthroughs and exciting new directions, making JEMS 2027 an inspiring meeting for both established scientists and early-career researchers.
JEMS 2027 is chaired by Evgenia Tereshina-Chitrova (Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences) and is organized under the umbrella of the European Magnetism Association (EMA).
The conference will be hosted at the Prague Congress Centre – a modern landmark venue offering state-of-the-art conference facilities, excellent accessibility, and outstanding views of Prague’s historic skyline, including Prague Castle and the Vltava River.
We look forward to welcoming you to JEMS 2027 in Prague for a week of outstanding magnetism research, lively exchange, and new connections – on site in a historic and vibrant setting and online within an active international community.
See you at JEMS 2027 in Prague!
